| We purchased the fridge with the idea
in mind that it would be handy at horse shows and on occasional hunting
trips. The balance of the time it would most likely be a fixture in
the garage along with an assortment of ice chests. Well, needless to
say, not only has it been handy at the horse shows and hunts, but we
can conservatively say that the two plus years that we have owned it,
at least 16 of those months it has been running 24/7 while wired into
our diesel pickup.
We use it constantly during the course of a week's
grocery shopping, surfing, and any number of misc. reasons while
going about our daily routines. The setting is kept mostly at 4 unless
something requires being frozen or needs to be frozen, and then most
often the setting is 6 or 7. I had to number the dial of the outer
portion of the dial so that the numbers could be read. The ones on
the dial's face were hard to read because of where it sits in the
camper shell. |
We do still use our smaller
ice chests for added flexibility, leaving the FridgeFreeze in the truck
and toting the lunches to their final destination.
We've had no real problems to speak of. I did have
to tighten the caps that you suggested, as one was leaking and the
silver calking on the inside has separated in a couple of places;
but other than that, it has worked flawlessly.
Because of its reliable performance and functional
design, our FridgeFreeze has provided us flexibility in our daily
routines, at horse shows, and on a variety of outdoor excursions.
If you were to ask us to go back to only using ice chests, we would
have to respectfully decline. Your fridge has certainly exceeded
our expectations! Thanks for a job well done. |
